LuAnn turned the meeting over to Russ to conduct a vote for election of officers

A voice vote with Evelyn calling for one vote for the ballot all agreed
Discussed recruitment again with focus on a male age 60-70 from Byfield with Social Media experience.

Discussion started by congratulating Carrie on doing such a great job promoting the COA and of all the new Programs that she is planning alone or with regional COA,s
LuAnn discussed they are working on going on-line to deliver the Newsletter working on getting everyone’s E-Mail address. Potential for large savings on mailing possible to produce a monthly newsletter
Next Item was the business plan see attachment, which created a lot of discussion
It will be used as a recruitment tool for both the COA and the Friends of the COA.
Again focus shifted to utilization of the COA the feeling is that the more we get ourselves noticed for fun and leisure activities the better positioned we will be to capture the newly turned 65 year olds,
On existing programs the men’s breakfast is dwindling in numbers and the suggestion is to make it a monthly breakfast for all seniors.
Saturday June 28th volunteers from the COA and the friends will be at Byfield Days handing out “Trash and Trinkets” with the hope of getting volunteers.
There will be a joint meeting of the COA and the Friends of the COA on September 18th At Coldwell Farms at %:00 P>M More information to follow.
